Creating a Softer, More Balanced Life
Just the Beginning
As someone with a background in marketing, I know the importance of producing relatable content and having a strategic approach in order to build a reputable brand. Yes, many videos and creators can go viral, which is wonderful, but posting consistent, authentic content is extremely important for building and maintaining a brand.
When brainstorming my personal brand, I knew I wanted to create meaningful content and build an audience that finds my material helpful, inspiring and/or relatable.
For that reason, I want to share the content planned for this blog, my socials and whatever else unfolds as part of the Victoria Domozick brand. The below themes reflect who I am as a person and serve as the basic building blocks to the nourishing, beautiful and real life I’m creating every day.
Wellness & Healing
As I shared in my introduction post, I’ve been navigating chronic health issues and burnout for a while, and that journey led me to rethink what wellness means to me. A big part of this has been focusing on a softer, more balanced life.
As I continue this healing process and focus on holistic wellness as part of my lifestyle, I’ll be sharing what has and is helping me shift to a more grounded mindset. This could range from slow morning vlogs to recipes I’m loving, supplement recommendations, big sis chats about burnout recovery, habits I’m implementing, reminders to get some sunshine, and so much more.
Please know that anything I share is not medical advice and is based on my own experience, research or information that has been shared with me by my functional medicine practitioners. Every condition is different, and even if we have the same symptoms, what works for me may or may not work for you. So I encourage you to work with a medical professional, get your lab work done, take what you read, see or hear from me as something to look into, and leave the rest if it doesn’t serve you.
Cozy & Intentional Living
One of the biggest shifts regarding my health and life in general has come from slowing down and being more intentional with the way I spend my time and energy.
Recently, I’ve spent more time at home, relaxing, reading books, cooking a good meal, soaking up the sun, and romanticizing rest and self care. Making my house cozy, calm and functional has been extremely helpful, and an organized and peaceful atmosphere makes everything more enjoyable.
This content is fun because it reaches across so many subtopics. My goal here is to share home decor inspo, tips for slowing down and savoring life, ways to romanticize life, mindfulness recommendations, and habits that help protect against burnout. Slowing down is hard (I’m still figuring it out), but creating a life that is more balanced, flexible and intentional is possible.
Style, Beauty & All Things Aesthetic
When it comes to expressing yourself, there are so many ways to do so. I’m a total girly girl, so I personally love finding cute outfits that also make me feel good. I believe a fresh manicure or massage can be a total mood booster. And most of all, I love finding the beauty in everything, whether it’s going to a farmer’s market, taking a road trip or vacationing at an all-inclusive.
That said, this content pillar focuses on all things aesthetic, including outfit ideas, beauty routines that feel nourishing, gorgeous scenery and anything else that feeds my soul. This mentality of finding the beauty in everything is rooted in my other pillars as well because I believe that life is wonderful… you just need to change your mindset to see it.
Real Life & Balance
At the end of the day, I’ll be sharing bits of my life, aiming to keep things flexible and realistic yet mindful and helpful at the same time. The goal is to feel grounded, connected, beautiful and more me while also connecting with others and creating meaningful content.
If this sounds like something you’re into, I’d love for you to tag along for the ride. Still unsure? Here are things I love that I’m sure will part of my upcoming blogs and social media:
Yoga, pilates, dancing around the kitchen, and lots of walks
Quality time with my husband, our puppy, friends and family
Good food and drinks (both at home and around town)
A good book, cozy PJ set and non-toxic candle
Travel (esp. to somewhere with an ocean) and time in nature
The perfect outfit or home decor find
If these seem like things you’re interested in too, I hope you follow along. :)
